Hi! I’m Kim Hager. I’m a motion graphics artist, designer, and illustrator based in Omaha. I studied fine art at the University of Nebraska Omaha and later earned my master’s from the UCLA Design | Media Arts program. Later on, working in the field of scientific visualization at UCLA Neurology, I discovered my passion for motion design.
Since then, I’ve freelanced for companies nationwide as a visual and motion designer on entertainment, gaming, non-profit, small business, and marketing projects. I’ve had the opportunity to work on various programs for Netflix, Discovery, and Travel Channel, and I am a three-time Creative Arts Emmy nominee (2023 & 2024).
I’m a member of the Ute tribe and have Ute and Navajo (Diné) ancestry. In my free time, I love traveling with family, walking in the forest, collecting vintage, and working on art projects. Feel free to say hello!
